ABOUT MMAARS
MMAARS is a vanguard in commercial analog astronautics for human space exploration, training the Next-Gen professionals to acquire practical hands-on expertise to enter the New Space era. We provide curated in-person and virtual programs and services focused on edutainment, experiential learning, and simulation-based training integrating exponential technologies. We have developed a “Mobile Modular Basecamp Training System” (MBTS) model at our MMAARS Analog Martian-Lunar Settlement located in Mojave Desert, California, USA. We offer multiple In-Person Analog Astronautics Training Programs including MMAARS 12-Day Virtual Astronautics Academy Training Programs.
VISION
Our “Earthshot” is to build a new paradigm for future planetary settlements by training analog astronauts to live, work, survive, and thrive as a community of career professionals in remote isolated and confined environments (I.C.E.). The MMAARS Analog Martian-Lunar Settlements will be located at various geographic locations on Earth, starting with our current settlement in Mojave Desert, CA. The MMAARS settlements will include various closed-loop environmentally controlled life support systems (E.C.L.S.S.).
Our "Moonshot" is to pioneer and support Humanity to become a multi-planetary species to live, work, survive, and thrive as a community in Lower Earth Orbit (L.E.O.) and on the Lunar surface within the next decade.
Our "Marshot" is to develop Martian settlements and enable commercial astronauts to live, work, survive, and thrive as a community on the surface of Mars by mid 2030's.
MISSION
Our mission is to educate, empower, entertain, engage, and expand a global “voice” in support of human space exploration and technological innovations to enable future settlements on off-world planets, such as, Mars and Moon, with spin-off benefits for improving life on Earth. We will train the next generation commercial astronauts and future leaders for the 21st Century with our “Lets get S.T.E.A.M.E.D” (Science, Technologies, Engineering, Art, Maths, Exponential, Digital VR/AR) workshops focusing on exponential technologies. Our goal is to train over 1,000,000 analog astronauts within the next decade who will graduate through our Analog Astronautics Training programs conducted at our MMAARS Analog Martian-Lunar Settlements at various geographic locations and Virtual Analog Astronautics Academy.
MMAARS supports the UN SDGs, with emphasis on SDG 3 and SDG 9.
